DSL Service is based on a 12-Month Term. By signing for Compu-Tech DSL, you are automatically accepting the terms of this agreement for one year; there will be an early termination fee of $150 or you will billed for the number of remaining months, whichever is greater.

All of these services can be configured to attach to your network via router to allow your entire network to be online at the same time. DSL service doesn't just allow employees to surf the web though, it can also be used to create a VPN, or, depending on your plan, for things like web serving and more.

Why DSL?

DSL technology enables high-speed connections to private networks or the Internet over existing copper wires. By providing a constant, always on connection, DSL eliminates dialup delays, busy signals and dropped connections. ADSL service also allows the use of the same phone line for voice at the same time as data.

A DSL Connection Will:

  • Increase productivity
  • Lower operating costs
  • Provide superior internet access
  • Guarantee fast access speeds
  • Provide "always on" internet connection
  • Eliminate additional ISP charges
  • Strengthen Internet presence
  • Allow fast data transfer

I have a dial-up modem, cable modem, or T-1 line.
Why would I want DSL?

DSL has a number of advantages over a normal dial up internet connection. Aside from being faster in both directions, it provides an always on connection, so there is no more waiting to dial. It also allows you to use the same phone at the same time for both voice and data. DSL service also eliminates additional ISP charges, so its an extremely cost effective solution.

ADSL has also been shown that, over a period of a month, it averages faster speeds than cable.

Remember though, that ADSL isn't the only type of DSL. There is also SDSL. This is capable of up to 9mbps, and plans GUARANTEEING T-1 speed ARE available for about a third the cost of a T-1.

Why WOULDN'T you use DSL?
